Ashwell Village Hall Facilities
Follwing a major refurbishment the Village Hall in Ashwell, Rutland is now open.
With up to date facilities the venue is fully Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant with wheelchair accessible throughout and offers 21st Century internet connectivity.
Ashwell Village Hall Refurbishment 2017 – 2021
We began the task of fundraising in 2017, initially through bids to grant funders. The required funds were realised in February 2020.
Building started in June 2020 and builders finished in January 2021.
We believe that we now have a facility which is fit for the 21st Century. The original building dates from 1925 so here’s to the next 100 years!
The Main Hall (7m x 14m)
The Main Hall is suitable for large events and parties.
Facilities and equipment include:
- Accommodation for up to 80 people
- Large TV and DVD player for presentations and film shows
- High speed WiFi available
- Fully equipped kitchen (hatch to Main Hall) with fridge, dishwasher and two range cookers
- Toilets that are fully Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant
- Defibrillator on site
